Closed too much troll

hey guys i was online earlier and there were not only one but several players who were trolling and spamming too much.

the usual process is
gag vs abuse

vs Trolling is:
Slay -> 10 Minute Ban (at least i think its 10 minutes)

I was wondering if there was a way the system could be built upon so that way certain players perhaps are marked, this way the trouble makers are clearly known, if your marked perhaps instead of slay -> ban you just get incrementally longer bans.

this would also mean players who play the game, but might hit a button too early by mistake once or twice wouldn't get marked, i'm sure we've all done it at least once, i remember when i first started i shot out one of planks on one of the jurrasic park maps, but it was my first time playing and i didn't know it was breakable, i was just acting like a noob firing my gun off (because gun go pew pew LOL)

but this way slay -> ban will work but keep doing it = longer bans

in the last game, one person was closing early on team, he got slayed at the start of next round, someone else did it, people breaking crates, its only small things, but when clearly people are working together to troll, i think giving some kind of server mark identifying them as a troll so they get harsher punishments is the way forward.

TLDR: lets give marks to people who excessively troll and give them longer bans 24h + to keep the progaming.....pro

Was there any admin in the server? If yes you can report it in admin chat with pressing
„u@your message“ also we have a section in discord called „instant player reports“ its under the category Zombie Escape. if there is no admin in the server, you can record them and post in the section instant player reports. how to record? Open console type in there: „record troller“ if you are finished just type stop in console. Goto csstrike folder and search for troller.dem upload it on sendspace(.)com, and share it in instant player reports. Same about suggestions, post it in section suggestions.

about your Suggestion: we already have this rule, if a player trolls after multiple times he get 30mins of ban. after 30mins if he keeps trolling he get 1h ban, 2h ban, 1day ban, 1week, 2week, (chance for improvement) if the player didn’t improve. He get perma.

If we take your suggestion into consideration the new players who most of them are not trollers will not join the server ever again if we ban them directly.Instead the new players are warn with slap and explain them clearly what they did wrong and most of the times they don't do that again.If we see that they keep trolling then we ban them for 30 min 2 Hours etc.In my opinion I don't like that suggestion.

wouldn't becoming a developer or programmer take years of training including a degree to be offically recognised in the industry?

to be completely honest, i did not even think about discord before posting this, i believe there were a few admin on at the time who did the usual slay -> ban

i understand that, but just to be clear. what i mean to suggest is keep the slay -> ban, but after each ban, perhaps there could be a flag put against their name, which means next time they get banned, a slightly longer ban, this will then accumilate into longer periods the more you troll.

i understood what you meant but Instead of putting this "flag" against their name, we have a list where we can see all players who got banned with any duration of time, if we see that he got several ban with the same duration of time he will get a longest duration next time, human work is more professional.
Even without this list it's not such a difficult to remember the troller name once you banned him 2 or 3 time. being an admin for a long time, you can find out who is trolling on purpose and who is the one trying to understand the game, the "flag" against his name is just to show to other players that this is the troller and we must not play with him. like Claudio said most of them are not trollers, we try to avoid the ban option and explain to them how to play. we just overdo things if we add this on server, i dont like the suggestion.

if that flag thing work as prefix so it's useless, anyone can change his steamid and join again pretending to not have it.

fair enough, I don't know what you guys have access too behind the scenes but i was curious as to how it would work vs players changing their name, i wasn't sure if you could still see their steam ID's or not.

oh well no matter, if you have a system in place to monitor players based on ban length then no worries. i must of got on while the trolls were in heat.
